All of my services are trauma informed and informed by the evidence based models of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes people tell themselves that they can’t change their relationship on their own. However, by changing yourself, you may be able to change your relationship for the better. Individual therapy is useful for adults struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, anger, meaning, career, relationships with parents, or previous trauma. My therapy for individuals is uniquely tailored to each client utilizing EFT, IFS, solution focused therapy, and experiential modalities.

Couples Therapy

Relationship problems can often feel hopeless and unchanging. There is hope, and change is possible. Oftentimes couples get stuck in their problems, and arguments or avoidance begins to spiral out of control. Couples therapy can be used to navigate issues of finances, intimacy, faith, trauma, addiction, in-laws, parenting, or any other important conflict. To accomplish this, I use Gottman Method blended with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, both of which are the gold standards of couples therapy.

Family Therapy

The reality is that often the problems one person is experiencing affects other members of the family. More importantly, the changes seen in one person can benefit the whole house. Family therapy involves parents, children, siblings, any other relevant members of the family. Family therapy is great for split or blended families, parent communication, children under 6, or sibling conflict. To accomplish this, I use structural family therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and solution focused play therapy to help families change their behavior and foster positive experiences.

Seeing your child experience problems can be incredibly scary and heart wrenching. Luckily, children are often the most creative and growth oriented clients that come to therapy. Child therapy can be used to treat issues of aggression, anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, or family conflict when family therapy isn’t appropriate. Child therapy involves a mix of play therapy and parent coaching.
