Effective
My goal is for you to see a reduction of significant symptoms within 8-12 sessions, and reach your goals within 24.
Home is becoming a place you dread. Every time you pull into your driveway, walk through that door, or see family for the holidays, you feel that pressure and anxiety. You might feel like you are failing at everything that matters. It may feel like society demands you to be strong, successful, and emotionally available but never teaches you how—then blames you when you struggle.
You’re supposed to love your family, love your work, and take care of everything, but no one ever showed you how. So far, you might manage by drowning yourself in technology with video games, social media, or porn. I know how lonely it can be when home becomes a place of stress—when you hesitate a few seconds before opening your front door.
You are not the problem. You’re just dealing with more than anyone taught you how. There is a path forward. I specialize in helping men work through emotions, build healthy habits, and create meaningful relationships. My therapy is solution focused, contemporary, and evidence based.
First, we’ll understand what’s actually going on. The largest part of effective treatment is accurate assessment. We will map out the patterns keeping you stuck and identify what needs to change. Then, we’ll elicit practical changes that you can apply to your every day. I’ll help you not only develop tools, but also make sure that you’re able to use them when the moment comes. Finally, these changes will generalize to your relationships outside of therapy and you won’t need me anymore. You’ll have developed the discipline, resilience, and confidence to make home a place you love.
You don’t want another failing relationship. You don’t want your kids growing up believing this is what it is to be a man. And you don’t want the rest of your family feeling the same way about coming home. You can build control over your own attention and habits, work that fulfills you, and a life with deep relationships. You can find a way to navigate the challenges of modern life and serve the people around you. You can love going home to your family and they will love coming home to you.
1. Assessment: mapping the problem
2. Change: identify and use practical tools
3. Integration: see lasting change outside of therapy
